The BECUP Team was formed in 2007, with the idea to organize a professional event for the Hungarian and Eastern European gamer community, where they can compare their skills.

Our first event the BECUP 2007 attracted 240 players in 48 teams, playing Counter-Strike and Counter-Strike:Source, in the new building of Pestszentimrei Sportkastély. On the BECUP 2008 we had 400 competitors, and Call of Duty was added as 3rd game to the event. Besides our two main events we worked together with other groups to organize eSport events. Sometimes just as a background adviser or as the main organizer of the event. After 2 years we can proudly say, that our team is the most experienced eSport event organizer in Hungary. Our events are drawing a dedicated attention from the Hungarian and international gaming community. The number of visitors of our homepage and on-line TV broadcasts usually tops our expectations. In 2008, the on-line broadcast was seen by more than 20 000 enquirers during the 2 days of the event.
